Leland Cherry Company’s Redesigned Website Wins National Creative Award

Leland, Mich. (July 2, 2007) The website site for Leland Cherry Company that was redesigned earlier this year, www.lelandcherry.com, has been named a Gold Winner for “Web Animation” in the 2007 Hermes Creative Awards competition. Leland Cherry Company partnered with the advertising & marketing firm IACOBUCCI >360 of Birmingham, Michigan to completely redesign their website, which now includes animation on the home page and an animated “Cherry-Go-Round” in the products section, as-well-as, build a solid yet easy-to-use e-commerce section.

“We are always trying to improve our online presentation,” says Michelle White, President of Leland Cherry Company, “looking for better ways to tell our story, help our customers navigate our site more simply, and to get to and purchase the products they seek quickly and easily. With IACOBUCCI’s strategic guidance,” she says, “our website was redesigned from the ground up to accomplish those objectives with a fresh, fun and creative approach.”

Sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP), Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. This year there were about 3,500 entries from the United States and abroad in all of the categories. The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm.
